    Arrival in Tbilisi

    Private transfer from the airport and check in at the Ramada by Wyndham. The evening is yours on Rustaveli Avenue or around Freedom Square.

    The charms of Tbilisi

    Metekhi Church, the Old Town, the Abanotubani sulphur baths and Leghvtakhevi waterfall, then Narikala, Mother of Georgia, Rike Park and the Bridge of Peace.

  3. Day 3

    Gori, Uplistsikhe and up to Bakuriani

    West to Gori, then the rock-hewn cave town of Uplistsikhe, before the road climbs into the forests and you check in at the Bakuriani Inn.

  4. Day 4

    Bakuriani and Borjomi

    A slow morning in the resort, then Borjomi central park and the mineral spring, with the cable car when it is running. Second night in Bakuriani.

    Back to Tbilisi, and shopping

    Down from the mountains, check in at the Gallery Inn, and an afternoon for Tbilisi's shops and markets: churchkhela, spices, honey, wine and crafts.

    Into the Great Caucasus

    The long mountain day: Zhinvali, Ananuri, Gudauri and the Friendship Monument, the Cross Pass, then Stepantsminda and Gergeti Trinity Church, weather permitting.
