    Arrival in Baku

    Met at Heydar Aliyev International Airport and driven to your hotel. Baku is at its best after dark, so the evening is left free for the boulevard.

    Baku, old and new

    Highland Park and Martyrs' Lane for the view, the Flame Towers, then Icherisheher: the Maiden Tower and the Palace of the Shirvanshahs. Afterwards the Caspian boulevard, Nizami Street, Fountains Square and the Heydar Aliyev Center.

    Guba and Shahdag

    North into the Caucasus for the day. Green country and mountain villages around Guba, then the Shahdag resort, where winter brings a different Azerbaijan entirely.

    The Absheron Peninsula

    Bibi-Heybat Mosque above the sea, the Ateshgah fire temple, and Yanar Dag, the burning hillside, with the Caspian coast on the way back.
