    The city centre on foot and by car: Mother Armenia above the capital, Republic Square, the Opera House, Northern Avenue and the Cascade, which is a staircase, a sculpture garden and a viewpoint at once.

    Mountains and mirrored water

    Tsaghkadzor, the Gorge of Flowers, with the medieval Kecharis Monastery and the ropeway up Mount Teghenis, then Lake Sevan and the Sevanavank monastery above it.

    Where legends meet stone

    Charents Arch for Ararat on a clear day, the rock-cut Geghard Monastery, the first-century temple at Garni, and the Symphony of Stones in the gorge below.
